Ninova was the capital of ancient Assyria on the eastern bank of the Tigris River in the region known as Anatolia. The first library was located at Ninova which contained over 20,000 clay tablets from the 7th century BC. The earliest great work of literature, The Epic of Gilgamesh, was found at the library along with other familiar stories such as the Poor Man of Nippur. The pieces on this site are inspired by the art, culture, and lifestyle of Anatolia as well as the spirit of Ninova.

Our goal at Ninova Shop is to carefully curate a library of Mediterranean influenced jewelry, accessories, and gifts.
